Rhonda brings more than 30 years of Bank Operations, Compliance, Human Resources and Audit expertise to the Liberty Bank team.  She oversees the bank’s Operations, Compliance, Information Technology, Security, Training, Audit, and Human Resources functions, and serves as chair of the Technology Oversight Committee.  Rhonda has worked at a number of different positions in King and Snohomish County, including as an Internal Audit and Compliance Officer in North Seattle. After attending Olympic College and graduating from Bremerton Business College, Rhonda began her banking career in Port Townsend, where she grew up and attended high school.

With more than 17 years at large institutions, Rhonda returned to her community banking roots and has been working for small community banks since 2000. She’s been a valued member of the Liberty Bank team since December, 2012.

Community Involvement

Rhonda serves on the Compliance Committee and the Education Committee for the Washington Bankers Association (WBA), bringing training and leadership development programs to bankers across the state. In March, 2015, the Independent Community Bankers of American (ICBA) named Rhonda “Indie Banker of the Month” with a feature story in Independent Banker magazine. In 2000 she founded and still leads a Community Bank Operations Group, which has 23 member banks. Rhonda fundraises annually in the March of Dimes walk with the bank team. A native of the Pacific Northwest, Rhonda and her husband Jess now live in Port Ludlow, where she has served on the Board as Treasurer of the Bridgehaven Community Club Home Owners Association.  She enjoys scrapbooking memories of family and friends, gardening, and home remodeling.
